Day 1: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh

Day 2: Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong

Itinerary:

 

Day 1: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh                                                        (B-L-D)

The guide will pick you up and transfer to Ninh Binh. It takes about 2 hours. Check in the hotel and then start setting off bicycles to ride to Hoa Lu Temple. Then have lunch in a fine local restaurant. Afternoon, take boat cruise to Explore Tam Coc in about 3 hours.  Stay overnight in your hotel.

 

Day 2: Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong                                               (B-L-D)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and start a quite long ride by bicycle to Cuc Phuong National Park. Once arrival there will a local guide of Cuc Phuong picks you up and continue short bike ride into the park center.

Check in the guest house in the park, and then have lunch in a local restaurant at park headquarters.

In the afternoon, you will take a trek visit the Visit Centre where you can learn more about the park from picture and models display. Later visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center – one of the highlight of a visit to Cuc Phuong, where you can observer one of the rarest primate species in the world. Walk in the Botanical Garden before having dinner at the same restaurant, follow by a quiet night’s sleep.

 

Day 3: Cuc Phuong                                                                  (B-L-D)

Wake to the singing of gibbons and the sounds of the surrounding forest. After breakfast, the car will bring to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where you can renter the Stone Age through your explorations. Drive another 2 km from

The cave for a 9km hike to visit the Ancient Tree tree before having a picnic lunch in the forest. Finally, visit the some 200 – 300 million years old Dinosaur Fossil before waking back to the main road. From here you will cycle for 11 km to the park center, settle to rooms, relax and having dinner at a restaurant and stay overnight in the middle of the park.

 

Day 4: Cuc Phuong – Silver Cloudy peak                                (B-L-D)

After the sounds of the jungle have lulled you to sleep in a modern bungalow, you will awake refreshed, have breakfast and begin another day of adventure with a visit to the Silver Cloudy Peak – a good challenging to climb the highest mountain of the park. Lunch will be in the jungle, dinner and stay another night in the park center.

 

Day 5: Cuc Phuong – Ha Noi                                                    (B-L)

Wake up having breakfast and then take 2,5 hours walk to visit the 1000 year old tree before leaving Cuc Phuong. Have lunch at local restaurant and then back to Ha Noi. Check in your hotel.
