From 1524 to 1945, Hue was the last imperial capital of Vietnam and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Today this historical site offers people the Hue Festival every two years. Now a huge international occurrence. A day tour of Hue offers us a long boat cruise on the Huong River to view some fine examples of Buddhist architecture, the Thien Mu pagoda and the impressive Tomb of Kings such as King Minh Mang and King Tu Duc. Take the opportunity to explore the magnificent “Forbidden City†the Imperial Palace ruled by Nguyen Dynasty.
