Itinerary in details:

 

Day 1: Arrive Vientiane

Airport arrival, meet your guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel. Your guide will have a brief on your Lao tour for following days. The day is free at your leisure

 

Day 2: Vientiane sightseeing                                                               (B- L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a sight seeing tour to Wat Sisaket - the oldest temple to have been survived from the Siamese war of 1828, Ho Prakeo - the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue, That Luang Stupa – most holly site of Laos, and Patuxay – Victory Monument. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Buddha Park - Buddha statues in modern style shapes, located on the Mekong River bank out of town. Return to town and enjoy a stroll through the colorful central market and some free time on the banks of the Mekong River.

 

Day 3: Vientiane - Luang Prabang – Sightseeing                                (B-L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Take an early flight to Luang Prabang, the ancient former capital. This is a city of historic temples and friendly faces of the local ethnic minority groups. The first half of the day is spent visiting the Museum in the former Royal Palace and the monasteries Vat Xieng Thong, Vat Saen and Vat Vixoun. After lunch, drive to atraditional Tai Lue weaving village Ban Phanom. Continue to the very scenic Tad Sae Waterfall by long tail boat - best during and after the rainy season. Its numerous cascades and pools are an ideal place for bathing. On the way to the Tad Sae Waterfall, visit the tomb of the 19th century French explorer Henri Mouhot, the first European to rediscover Angkor Wat and to visit the Royal Kingdom of Luang Prabang. Return to town, climb the Phousi Mount for a panoramic view of Luang Prabang

 

Day 4: Luang Prabang – River cruise to Pak Ou cave                          (B- L)

Breakfast at the hotel. A short transfer to boat pier for a full day excursion by boat along the Mekong river.  We visit the famous Buddhist cave of Pak Ou. On the way stop at Ban Xanghai where the process of rice alcohol distillation can be observed. Visit Tham Ting cave. Lunch at a local restaurant nearby. At the convergence of the Mekong and Ou river, see why so much preservation and effort is now focused on this ancient old city. Return down river by boat.

 

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Hanoi                                                              (B)

Laos to Vietnam by flight. Ha Noi arrival, airport reception and transfer to hotel for tour briefing. Free at your hotel.

 

Day 6: Ha Noi                                              (B)

This day tour is your first introduction to the history that is Viet Nam. We spend the morning visiting famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda. Learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as the Vietnam’s first university since the 11th century. In the afternoon, we attend some of Hanoi's most interesting museums followed by an hour Cyclo tour through the bustling Old Quarter. Later this evening, we get together for a tour briefing then attend the performance of the unique water puppetry dating back to the11th century. 

 

Day 7:  Ha Noi - Ha Long                       (B-L-D)

Today, we travel to Ha Long discovery this magnificent UNESCO World Wonde. Check in to the Junk and enjoys sea food. After the lunch, we go to visit some caves as Thien Cung, Dau Go… Relax on the Ti Top beach. Stay overnight on the boat.

 

Day 8: Ha Long - Ha Noi                                                                        (B-L)

In the morning, we visit  Ha Long Bay. After the lunch, check out the junk and driving back to Hanoi we stop at Dong Trieu village famous for its ceramic products. Then Tranfer to the airport and fly to Hue.

 

Day 9: Hue                                                                                              (B)

Hue is one of Viet Nam’s most cultural and historical cities once ruled by the Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. To day, we have holl day to discovery  Hue citadel.  In the morning, we take time to visit the Forbidden Citade, Ming Mang and Khai Dinh Temple. Then we take a boat on the Pefum River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and explore the crowded market of Dong Ba where you may be interested in bargaining for some priceless souvenirs.

 

Day 10: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An                                                                (B)

How about a drive south to the famous China beach, crossing spectacular Hai Van Pass to reach Da Nang. We visit the best Cham Museum in Vietnam and take a short break at Marble Mountain. Continue to Hoi An known as an ancient town of meandering narrow streets dating back to the 16th century.

 

Day 11: Hoi An                                             (B)

Hoi An is called:’ living museum”. An is typified by the 16th century Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture. After visiting Ancient town, we can walk on the street to buy somethings as clothing, lanterns, shoes, food. We will take a boat to visit Thu Bon river and relax on the beach.

 

Day 12 Day 12: Hoi An – Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh city(B)

Transfer to the Da Nang airport and it’s on to the busy  Ho Chi Minh City. We walk its bustling streets and  markets, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the former US Embassy and Cho Lon, the Chinatown of Saigon. The shopping in Ho Chi Minh city is as good as anywhere and the bargains are  waiting for you.

 

Day13: Ho Chi Minh city                                                                         (B)

After breakfast, we go to visit War Museum, Independence  and North Dame Cathedral. In the afternoon, we go shopping at Cho Lon market and china Town.

 

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta                                                (B)

During this morning we journey south to My Tho town, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Take a motor boat on Tien Giang to visit Thoi Son island, The tropical gardens and back drops of the Mekong Delta are great. The small boats are an efficient way to travel this area of Vietnam. This area is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Free time at your leisure.

 

Day15: HoChiMinhcity–SiemReap              (B)                                            

Airport transfer for flight to Siem Reap where our journey starts by exploring Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants and Terrance of the Leper King.  Transfer back to Hotel for relaxation after a big day.

 

Day 16: Siem Reap                                     (B)

Angkor Wat, one on the 7th Wonders of the World and you are about to discover it for yourself. View sunrise at Angkor Wat in the early morning and an afternoon boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake to visit Floating Village.

 

Day 17: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh              (B)

This morning, we visit Grand Cuircuit including Pre Rup ( Change the body ), East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong before transferring to the airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Arrive Phnom Penh. Free at your leisure.

 

Day 18: Phnom Penh                                                                              (B)

A full day of exploration will lead us to Silver Pagoda, the Toul Sleng Museum and the impressive Khmer National Museum. Pol Pot’s reign of terror may shock you so be prepared for a disturbing account.  Free time in town for shopping at the Russian Market or New Central Market.

 

Day 19: Depart Phnom Penh                                                                    (B)

On the concluding day, it’s time to relax until transferring to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
