Day 1 : Arrive Ha Noi
The guide will pick you up at the airportand transfer to the hotel and free at your hotel.
Day 2 : Ha Noi (B)
This day tour is your first introduction to the history that is Viet Nam. We spend the morning visiting famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda. Learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as the Vietnam’s first university since the 11th century. In the afternoon, we attend some of Hanoi's most interesting museums followed by an hour Cyclo tour through the bustling Old Quarter. Later this evening, we get together for a tour briefing then attend the performance of the unique water puppetry dating back to the11th century
Day 3: Ha Noi - Mai Chau (B-L-D)
Today we start our adventure through the Northwest. The scenery on this journey brings us in contact with images of rural and traditional Vietnam with the various ethnic minorities of the North. The “Green Valley†of Mai Chau is our first stay. Upon arrival, spend time exploring local villages surrounded by terraced rice paddies that contrast against the mountains. Experience the hospitality of the Thai minority people and attend an evening dance at the traditional house on stilts home stay, as we overnight there.

Day 4: Mai Chau - Son La (B)
The next day involves a journey to Son La, a remote old French army Hill Station used during the Indochinese war in Vietnam. With stops en route, the endless fields of green tea in Moc Chau and the colorful rural life styles will captivate you.
Day 5: Son La – Dien Bien Phu (B)
Make an inspection of the old prison built by the French to detain Communists revolutionaries before driving onward to the well-known former French battle ground of Dien Bien Phu (1954). Observe the head quarters of colonial Christian de Castries. This was one of the sites of revolution against the French in Indochina, then regarded as the last bastion of French power in Viet Nam.
Day 6: Dien Bien Phu - Phong Tho (B)
As we journey deeper into the Northwest, Tam Duong is an impressive destination of fantastic scenery. Mountains and unspoiled tribal villages. Encounter the Tay, H’Mong and Dao ethnic groups. Witness their daily activities and admire their costume that seems to not have been influenced yet by modern life or the outside world. Overnight in a modest local Hotel.

Day 7: Phong Tho – Sapa (B)
After a some local market stops on the way, we approach the cooler Alpine location of Sapa town (1650 mtrs asl). This old French Hill Station boasts some of the most interesting Ethnicity in Vietnam. The Saturday Markets are something to see as trading is done on this day. Sensational photography opportunities of both Natural beauty and human diversity.
Day 8: Sapa (B)
Have the chance to do some trekking and to experience the daily lives of the Black H’mong and Dao people. Witness a truly simple, traditional way of life that exists as it has done for centuries. This place has seen migration over the Chinese Boarder for the last 500 year old.
Day 9: Sapa - Bac Ha (B- L)
Bac Ha Market is a extraordinary stop on the way back to Hanoi. This Sunday market is attended by many ethnic groups including the colorful Flower H’Mong, Tay and San Chi minorities. The hive of activity and colors at the market is really something to see. Stay over night at Bac Ha.

Day 10:Bac Ha -Ha Giang (B)
Along to small road we go to Ha Giang. On the way, you see many minories as H’Mong, Zay, Tay…. We stay at the hotel of Ha Giang province. Then we visit Dinh ho Vuong, …..
Day 11 :Ha Giang – Cao Bang (B)
Cao Bang Province near the border was involved in the Chinese shelling of 1979. Attending the morning market here is a great chance to see some of the local traders doing their thing. Take an excursion to Pac Bo cave where former president Ho Chi Minh resided on his first return after 30 year of exile. A quiet night in the town centre presents a unique opportunity for those looking for a direct type of cultural exchange.
Day 12:Cao Bang – Lang Son (B)
Continuing along the border to Lang Son, we pass the old battles fields raged between France and Viet Nam. This is also a good chance of capturing some picturesque scenery on film. Arrive Lang Son, take time to interact in this busy trading town. Many bargains to be had here.
Day 13:Lang Son – Ha Noi (B)
In the morning, encounter the legendary caves of Nhi Thanh and Tam Thanh, view the impressive To Thi stone statue and reflect on the historically significant period against the Chinese invasion of ancient times. Time to head back to Ha Noi, ending the first part of our adventure.
Day 14 :Depart Hanoi (B)
Free at your leisure and transfer to the airport for departure flight.
